EXHIBITION | WORKSHOP
The second artist featured in our informal DOOR Coffee Space gallery is ‘By Frenchie’ (Fransje Calf, 29). She is an Amsterdam based painter, creative director & graphic designer.
Considering herself a true color monster, Fransje feels that colors can create happiness and calmness at the same time, pastels hug her eyes. She finds her inspiration in the beauty of the female shape and form, resulting in cheeky artworks that showcase sexiness in a playful and friendly way. As a feminist, she hopes to get women to love their bodies by letting her paint them and see their own body as pure art, because that’s what it is!
With her use of pastels and portraying of flowing bodies, Fransje’s soothing art is both easily uniquely recognizable and uniquely empowering.
Frenchie will be hosting an exhibition opening on the 16th of June and a workshop on the 18th of June.

Workshop
In addition to the By Frenchie Exhibition, Fransje is hosting an exclusive painting workshop on June 18th to honor all beautiful women and everyone who feels and/or identifies as a woman.
Expect a workshop where women and their beautiful shapes are the main focus. Fransje is the power lady of her own creative studio By Frenchie and loves painting women and their shapes - preferably in pretty pastels. So, on June 18th you're welcome to paint along with Fransje in an exclusive art workshop - including her tips and tricks. To get the most empowerment and self confidence out of this workshop, please bring a photo of yourself to paint (on your phone, for your eyes only). If you don’t feel comfortable painting your own body, we’ll have some inspiration pictures available at the workshop.
